The rain couldn’t hold these two back from the outdoors. We still partied all night in Hannah’s childhood backyard for their reception. Even on a rainy day, I’d choose a backyard wedding!

You can’t go wrong with an outdoor ceremony…well yes, I know, the weather could go wrong. If it were up to me, all of my clients would shoot for an outdoor portion of their day. It’s SO worth it to enjoy the outdoors.

Emily and Joe’s ceremony atop Lacuna Artists Loft’s Rooftop was to-die-for. I think it will make a few Chicago brides more brave as they plan for their big day 😉 In my experience…it is so totally worth the risk.

Since they didn’t have an album booked in their package, I couldn’t help but create a digital album for them to cherish!

Happy one month you two!

John and Namrita, it has been an honor to get to know the two of you over the past year; getting to explore New York and share your special engagement both there and back in Chicago. There are few couples who display such genuine adoration towards one another.

It is evident.

It is inspiring.

It gives us no greater pleasure than to tell the story of your wedding day; a day full bright florals, rich culture, joyous dancing & singing, delicious Indian sweets and treats, and of course full of love!

Ceremony Venue: Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple, Panchavati Gazebo

“I don’t know why I get to have you. I know I’m lucky. I know you’re special.

With you I have learned to be grateful for everything, because it is one more day that I am living my dream. And every day is unbelievable. My goal in life is to make you smile. I told you a long time ago that maybe I wasn’t the right person for the job, but you said I was. You’re good and genuine and thoughtful and honest and reflective. You’re a hard person to live up to, but I am happily taking on that challenge.”
